Memento

Synopsis

Memento is a device that transform digital conversations into tangible and archival ASCII artifacts. It renders chosen text threads as tangible ASCII compositions, translating the ephemeral language of screens into the permanence of print. The result is something closer to a pressed flower or a tucked-away letter than a screenshot.

The project asks what it means to truly own a memory in an age when access is rented, and proposes that the small act of making something physical might be a quiet form of resistance.
